I’m Zach Linsell, the founder of Linsell Speed Shop—a multi-time national karting champion with over 25 years of racing experience, including stints in F2000 and a 13+ year tenure as an MGM Chassis team/test driver. But LSS isn’t just a shop for fast parts. It’s a home base for racers who want to grow.

Racing and karting have been a part of my life since 2000, when I started out on the dirt tracks of Eastern Pennsylvania. Over the past two decades, I’ve raced on everything from dirt ovals to road courses to the high banks of Daytona. I’ve won multiple national championships and stood on top at some of the biggest races on the calendar—but it’s not just about the wins. It’s about the process, the craft, and the people.

Whether you’re just getting started in sprint karting or chasing a national title, our goal is to make you a smarter, sharper, and more complete driver. We build race-winning MGM Espionage karts, provide hands-on coaching, and back it all with deep technical support both at the track and in the shop.

We’re based in the Northeast but work with racers across the country—offering products we believe in, coaching that actually makes a difference, and a trackside presence that helps you get the most out of every lap.

Years ago, one of my early mentors, Eric Garland of Garland Racing Engines, told me something that stuck:

“Ever since I started building engines, I’ve been pretty lucky. I’ve met some great people and traveled to a lot of different places. I’ve had a moderate amount of success at it. But the best part about doing what I once did for a living was the feeling I got from helping someone. When I helped people out at the track and they did good, I felt great. The absolute best though is when I would help someone and they got their first big win.”

Eric was part of my very first national win, and I’ve been lucky enough to be part of some big wins for other drivers too. Don’t get me wrong—I love winning. But I agree with Eric: helping someone else break through is just as good, if not better.
